Garden Fencing Panels

Garden fencing panels are very common (over non paneled garden fencing) because of the straightforward installation and simple construction.  No matter how complex the design, the fence is broken up into equal lengthed panels.

Most garden fencing is constructed of posts and panels.  The posts are sunk into the ground and used primarily as support and the panels cover the space between the posts to make up the majority of the fence.  Not all garden fencing is constructed with panels, one example is a long sheet of mesh wire that is unraveled around posts (commonly used for keeping animals out of vegetable gardens).

When determining how many garden fencing panels you need, you need to consider more than just the length of the fence.  You may have to adjust your fencing area based on how long the panels are or shorten a few panels to fit the side of your garden.  Rarely will a whole number of panels fit exactly with all sides of your garden.
